Session Highlights:

Time Title Description Owner
18:00 - 18:30 Build your first agent with Azure AI Foundry Agent Service The Azure AI Foundry Agent Service blends powerful cloud services with a flexible SDK, making it easy to build robust, intelligent agents. In this session, you'll learn how to create your own code-first AI agent.  We'll explore core agent concepts by starting with a simple agent and progressively adding capabilities like reasoning, data analysis, and integration with external data sources.  Whether you're new to agents or looking to go deeper, you'll leave ready to start building your own AI-powered solutions. Roelant Dieben
18:00 - 18:30 Speeding up AI with better CI and CD using GitHub Copilot Coding Agent and Actions Agentic AI is now able to work while you are doing other things. CI and CD then help you verify and ship your code to production safely. Stable and fast CI/CD was already important with human engineers, but with AI creating more changes, faster and in desperate need for quality feedbacn, it's becoming maybe even more important.   The session uses GitHub Actions to explain what you can do to get better feedback faster from your CI/CD workflows and how Copilot Agent benefits from these changes. Jesse Houwing
18:40-19:10 Scaling Content Creation: How AI Tools Solved My Data Challenge I recently created a news gathering website and I'll take you through the process, which was a bumpy road as always, and share my approach, what I ran into and how I solved it.  The website is gathering content from 60 RSS feeds, analyzing the content and creating structured articles and metadata. Especially the weekly roundups were quite a challenge, given the amount of data that's collected in 1 week.  Join me for insights on how tools like GitHub Copilot Chat, GitHub Models, Coding Agent and Azure OpenAI can help you generate news-like content, especially when the amount of data increases! Reinier van Maanen
18:40-19:10 Building a Center of Excellence for AI: A strategic approach to enterprise AI adoption AI adoption often starts with scattered experiments, but scaling it across the enterprise requires structure, governance, and the right people. In this session, we’ll explore how to set up a Center of Excellence for AI that drives strategy, ensures compliance, and accelerates value creation. You’ll learn about the key roles, operating models, and technical foundations needed, as well as a practical phased approach to build and grow an AI CoE in 18 months. Packed with real-world lessons and pitfalls to avoid, this talk will help you transform AI from ad-hoc projects into a sustainable, enterprise-wide capability. Hidde de Smet
19:20-19:50 Getting started with AI by using GitHub Models Often people do not know how to get started with AI, especially since a lot of the options mean spinning up some resources on Azure or another service, which means there are costs associated with it.  GitHub Models gets you started with Generative AI for Free! Learn where to start and how to progress to more advanced scenarios. Especially suited of people who want to make sense of what the heck this AI thing is!  Come learn from real examples of working with text or converting documents into text so you can work with large language models to extract information out of them. Rob Bos
19:20-19:50 Judge, Jury, and executioner: intro to evaluating generative AI applications Demos are easy; dependable AI is not. This session shows how to verify that your LLM apps actually work using Azure AI Foundry. We’ll cover what to measure and how to spot and reduce hallucinations with groundedness checks. You’ll see evaluators in action, and learn how to continuously evaluate your AI applications to ensure the quality of the outputs remains up to par across releases. Jesse Wellenberg
20:00 - 20:30 Lightning talks
